The rock requires souls of the inanimate...

Up to four different gods to worship!  Mow down foes with the weapons of gods!  Press "R" to restart or if you want a different god to worship.

Known bugs/silly mistakes: When you die you can't restart because the code for restarting is attached to the player character, oops.

This is my submission for the 50th Godot Wild Jam and it was great.  I didn't have work this week, but I did have school which is better than last GWJ I joined when I had school and 20 hours of work that week.  Unfortunately, I'm going out of town halfway through the jam so I had only a few days to work on it.

I am very proud of this game the mechanics and gameplay, while not earth shattering, is still pleasantly fun to me.  The combat is simple but I noticed that it's more in depth than I thought it'd be.  Like how Hel's attack doesn't go away after it hits an enemy allowing for groups of enemies to be wiped off the Earth.  Although Hel's weapon against the Hat enemy isn't very good because the enemy will teleport out of the attack's range (usually) and that punishes the player because of the weapons slow fire rate.  I could go on about little things like that but I'll stop patting myself on the back.

I really enjoy the concept of this game and was wondering if I should make it a full game?  Of course I'd have the artwork redone or hire an artist, I'd add more gods like Anubis and Cthulhu, more enemies and I'd add items that'd effect your character in unique ways and making combat more fun and challenging.  I have a lot of ideas so if this gets a positive response then I'll make it a full on game.

Personally, I think you should make a full game. It has a very nice concept, and could be very fun if it had more enemies and went on longer. Have a nice day! :)
